Jambhala, the deity of wealth, is depicted in many forms, each representingdifferent aspects of prosperity and spiritual growth.
Yellow Dzambhala is the first of the five wealth gods, and can free the wearer from poverty, suffering, and increase wealth.
In this Thangka, Yellow Dzambala is depicted with one face and two arms. His body is small with a large belly, and his skin is golden. He wears a Five-Buddha Crown and celestial robes, adorned with a blue lotus, jewels, and garlands.
In his right hand, he holds a wish-fulfilling gem (mani pearl), while his left hand gently grasps a mongoose (symbol of wealth) exhaling jewels.
Across his chest hangs an Upara mala (prayer beads). He sits in a relaxed “royal ease” pose — his left leg bent and his right foot gently stepping on a conch shell — resting upon a lotus moon mandala.
Reciting Yellow Dzambala ‘s mantra with sincerity is believed to bring financial abundance, relieve poverty, and remove economic hardship.
Those who generate bodhicitta (the mind of awakening) and vow to free all beings from suffering may attain immeasurable merit and blessings.

What is Filigree Thangka?
Filigree Thangka Thangka, pioneered in Qinghai in the early 21st century, is a derivative art form of traditional Thangka that incorporates cloisonné techniques. This craft involves outlining designs with metal wires (such as copper or gold foil wires) on a base board, which are then filled with natural mineral or plant-based pigments to create vivid, textured visuals. It represents a fusion and continuation of two intangible cultural heritages: Thangka art and Filigre craftsmanship.
